BBDS was mentioned in “Laserfiche VARNews”

On January 4, Bits and Bytes Document Solutions (BBDS), based in the greater Atlanta area, closed a deal with Brooks Internet Software, a TCP/IP network printing solutions provider headquartered in Idaho Falls, ID, for a Laserfiche Avante system with Import Agent and Web Access.

According to Dave Brooks, President and CEO of Brooks Internet Software, the company purchased Laserfiche to create a comprehensive ECM foundation to manage both an extensive backlog of paper files as well as tens of thousands of PDFs related to customer orders. Brooks adds that BBDS developed a “custom import workflow” that allows users to drag and drop a customer order into a workflow folder, which then retrieves the order number from a back-end database and populates fields for that particular document type. “It’s a tremendous time saver,” Mr. Brooks says.
